Summer Math Review, Ages 9-12

Service Description

In this course, students review the foundational math concepts which all children are learning in the upper elementary years, ensuring they don't slip in these skills over the Summer vacation! (Many students will lose up to 30% of the progress they've made over Summer break without a review.) Solidifying these key concepts will enable them to return to school prepared to focus on acquiring an understanding of new concepts and bolster their pre-algebra knowledge. Whenever possible, we'll utilize fun activities and stories to help them discover new, fun ways to engage with math! We'll meet mostly via zoom to accommodate travel over the Summer. Please note that while there are eight sessions on the calendar, the package for purchase only includes attendance for six meetings. (We do this as families aren't paying for sessions they may have to skip due to vacations, camp, etc. Of course, you're welcome to purchase more sessions if you'd like!)
